How do I connect the LPG tanks on my RV to your displays?
Most motorhomes have an electric UL certified sending unit which will interface with the SeeLevel RV gauge system. Most towable RV's use portable LPG tanks, which do not have electric senders. The solution to this problem is to purchase new tanks with electric senders installed. One such source is www.airstreamdreams.com, they offer aluminum tanks that are much lighter with electric senders installed. You will also need to install 2 way selector switch to read both levels on most SeeLevel monitors, the 712 LT offers dual readout capability.
How do I connect a second display in the wet bay to my Model 709 system?
The second display will need to be supplied with its own 12VDC power and ground. The blue wire for the senders will also need to be run in parallel with the inside display. The LPG wire, if needed, also needs to be connected to the green wire, same as on the inside display. Finally, you will not be able to operate both displays at the same time, one or both displays may read error if two people try the displays at the same time.
